A practical sequence
- Confirm the opening period, booking and reporting instructions before departure.
- At Pamba, prepare with your group and join the permitted ascent.
- At Sannidhanam, follow the queue toward Darshanam and the authorized approach to the steps.
- Offer prayer without blocking movement.
- Complete offerings and associated shrine visits as directed.
- Collect prasadam, regroup and begin the permitted descent.
Pathinettampadi and other access
The sacred steps have their own traditional conditions, including Irumudi for ordinary pilgrims. Do not assume that a booking confirmation alone authorizes every ritual approach. Ask temple staff about the appropriate access for your circumstances.
Worship and current movement
Your Guruswamy can explain customary order. Temple staff determine practical movement when crowds, weather or special worship change the arrangement. Keep the two kinds of guidance together.
