A short daily prayer card
स्वामिये शरणम् अय्यप्पा స్వామియే శరణం అయ్యప్ప സ്വാമിയേ ശരണം അയ്യപ്പാ
The same invocation appears above in Devanagari, Telugu and Malayalam. Chant at a comfortable pace; this page does not set a mandatory count.
Suggested morning and evening practice
- Remember Ganapati and offer salutations to Dharma Sastha.
- Recite Saranaghosham slowly, understanding the expression of refuge.
- Include a familiar stotram or devotional song learned from your temple group.
- Conclude with namaskaram and a prayer for the well-being of others.
During the day
Use the invocation as a gentle reminder of the observance. Quiet remembrance can accompany patient speech and service; chanting should not disturb fellow travellers or interfere with hearing safety directions.
